Unseen, Until You

Prologue

In a city that never truly slept—where dreams were whispered under neon lights and fame pulsed louder than traffic—there lived two people who had mastered the art of hiding.

She was known simply as J, a name whispered in the corners of quiet galleries, attached to canvases that stirred emotions too complex for words. Her strokes spoke of longing, of stardust and shadows, of everything she’d never dared to say aloud. No one knew who J truly was, and that was precisely how she wanted it. Jasmin lived a quiet life on the outside—a bookish university student, always with her glasses sliding down her nose and paint-stained hands shoved deep in jacket pockets. Art was her world, but it was a world she protected like a secret garden.

He was Noah, a name shouted by crowds and printed in glossy magazines. An idol, an actor, the kind of boy who knew exactly where to look when the camera rolled. With a single smile, he could melt hearts. But behind the charm and the fame lived a young man desperately trying to remember who he was before the world told him who to be.

They met in a place neither of them belonged.

A forgotten alleyway between a run-down bookstore and a flower shop that still smelled of spring. Jasmin had been sketching the chipped bricks and creeping vines, headphones in, lost in her world. Noah, trying to escape the suffocating demands of his image, had ducked in there to breathe.

Their eyes met—hers startled, his curious.

Neither knew then that the encounter would unravel their carefully guarded facades. That one secret would lead to another, until neither could tell where art ended and reality began.

In a city full of watchers, somehow, they saw each other.

And everything started from there.
